Martial Arts and More of Wilmington, NC We specialize in using martial arts as a tool to teach children how to be leaders! Both are lifelong martial artists holding black belts in multiple styles.

We focus on instilling focus, confidence, self-control, and self-discipline to help our students be the best they can be at home, at school, and in the community! Martial Arts and More (formerly Team JBM Jiu Jitsu) - Wilmington, NC opened its doors in January 2014 by Team JBM Black Belt and Army Combatives Instructor Matt Brown. The school was purchased in 2020 during covid by James Wright and Nat

e Feldman. They strive to keep a fun, clean, and safe training environment that is very welcoming to beginners as well as students with previous experience. Our martial arts academy offers programs for ages 4-adult in Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The kid's programs focus on using martial arts as a tool to develop confidence, focus, self-discipline and so much more! The adult programs focus on teaching effective martial arts in both the competition and self-defense realms. We are passionate about using martial arts as a tool for character development. We believe that the lessons learned through training—discipline, perseverance, respect, and confidence—help students navigate life’s challenges. Our is goal is to create a supportive environment where students of all ages can grow, both physically and mentally, through the practice of martial arts.
