LIVE BAND RIDES ARE ALMOST HERE 🎸

This Saturday, June 13, we’re bringing something we’ve never done before to Recess: a LIVE BAND performing in the studio while you ride.

Join Alexis Raena and her full band as they provide the soundtrack to two unforgettable rides:
🎤 9:00 AM with Carolyn & Samantha Ray
🎤 10:30 AM with Bevin

Not only will you experience live music from your bike, but a portion of proceeds will benefit Kiwanis of Wilmington. 💙

This month, we celebrate Carolyn’s (June 3) and Samantha Ray’s (June 12) 5-year anniversaries at Recess.

It’s hard to put into words what these two have meant to this community over the last five years. They’ve shown up through every season, every challenge, every celebration, and thousands of rides. They’ve helped shape the culture of Recess into what it is today - welcoming, joyful, authentic, and deeply connected.

Their impact goes far beyond the bike. They’ve built relationships, inspired confidence, and have created so many unforgettable moments.

Carolyn and Samantha Ray, thank you for your leadership, your passion, your dedication, and for pouring so much of yourselves into this community. Recess would not be Recess without you.

Join us on Sunday, June 14th for one of our favorite events as we celebrate love, community, and the incredible LGBTQ+ organizations making a difference right here in Wilmington.
✨ Ride at 10AM
✨ Afterparty immediately following
✨ Drag performances by , , and 
✨ Hot dogs, sweet treats, drinks, and more
✨ Proceeds benefit the LGBTQ Center of the Cape Fear Coast & Stonewall Sports

Whether you’re clipping in for the ride or just joining us for the afterparty, ALL are welcome. Come celebrate!
