Everybody talks about sharks… meanwhile the real menace of the deep is a 12-inch triggerfish with anger issues!

This little guy took a nice chunk out of our diver’s ear as a reminder that triggerfish don’t care how many Megalodon teeth your finding.

PSA for divers: triggerfish get extremely territorial, especially around nests. If one starts charging you, don’t stick around trying to win the argument — back away calmly and give them space.

The ocean keeps us on our toes… and apparently our ears too. 🤿🩸

Incredible conditions topside an underwater made for an epic day of spearfishing on some deep ledges offshore.

Lobster literally everywhere.. we limited out on dive 2 and just had to stop grabbing them. BIg Gags and scamp were skittish, but this group landed some studs! Throw in some big Hogfish, and we had ourselves an awesome day.

75 degree water temps and almost top to bottom visibility. Summer is finally here!

It’s been a long few weeks on the hill, but we have Ledge Tender looking like new again!

Fresh bottom, an updated cabin, all new cushions, and a good buff and shine!
