Introducing our new 2026 Head Coach of Cape Fear Women’s Volleyball, Abby Vendemia! 💙🏐
A former Sea Devil student-athlete, Abby has been coaching at Cape Fear since 2023, playing an instrumental role in recruiting, player development, and helping continue the championship culture that defines Sea Devil Volleyball. After helping lead the program through one of the most successful eras in school history as both a player and coach, she now steps into the head coaching role. A graduate of UNC Wilmington and current Elite level Head Coach at East Coast Volleyball Academy, Abby is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court and is excited to build on Cape Fear’s tradition of excellence.
