Engine torn down, front Iron replaced, engine re-assembled. Replaced stationary gears as well as we found odd bearing wear. It looks like the balancing we paid extra for at the last build was no good. Found some other wear issues that tells us this motor needs to have a back up in the works. Made some new friends and gained a bunch of knowledge.

Engine is out, we tear down and repair in a couple weeks.

Another race going well and then suddenly not. An hour to go and the car started smoking. Pulled in to inspect and there's oil everywhere. Front iron appears to have cracked. Similar to last July when the rear iron cracked. We have spares but not something we can do trackside. Our weekend is over.

A little pre-season testing this past weekend...
