A friend of our team flew out and took some awesome photos of our last race at Thunderhill few weeks ago, including us and lots of other teams. Check it out!

This was the final race for The Homer. Preparing for the race is a ton of work, parts for the car are getting expensive and harder to find, and managing the team at the race has become more stressful than fun, so we've decided to retire it from the racetrack. Not sure what the future holds for the car. I'd love to keep it but it's hard dealing with a car that isn't street legal.

The most grueling of races, and we’re all exhausted but had a good amount of fun amongst the extraordinary amount of work it takes to race a car for 25 hours in 100°+ weather.

When you get your 4th black flag and it’s because somebody “hit you in the rear”, and you drive the Homer Car, sometimes they give you the Bart Simpson penalty for your whole team… The 24 Hours of Lemons

Nighttime update-
Scott just exited the car, Kris is driving now, Mike up next.

Car running good so far!
It’s 82° now, thankfully Mother Nature turned the oven down a little for the overnight.

We’re running in 45th, 69 laps behind the leader.
Top lap time so far is a 2:22 by Reid.

Fixed the fuel pump, fueled the car, then it split the radiator hose and dropped all the water. Got towed back to our pit and fix that, fire it up, and now water is spraying from the radiator 😞 so gotta swap that
