📆 Bleachers & Features will release TOMORROW, Monday the 7th, this week!!

☀️ It’s been a very busy holiday weekend so far, and today it’s in the race shop getting my Hornet ready to go racing at South Bend Motor Speedway next weekend!! (And also maybe I just want to watch some football on my couch tonight too)

🎙️ Full episode coming out for you tomorrow though! Lots of postseason racing to go through, and we’ve got a cup race we can talk about after tonight too. Enjoy your Sunday, and we’ll catch you on the podcast tomorrow!

Wishing good luck to all of my Russell's M-40 Speedway friends as the Indiana-Michigan Challenge Cup kicks off tonight!!

Three days of race cars, camping, and good times at the racetrack to celebrate a great season at a great place.

Hope everyone has a blast!! Mix in some waters, too….

Paid to fight at the racetrack!?!? Well, sorta.. South Bend Motor Speedway used to play home to Pro Wrestling events in the old “territory” days!!

The World Wrestling Association, headed by famed grappler Dick the Bruiser, was based out of Indianapolis.. and the South Bend/Elkhart area was part of the group’s regular schedule. Other local venues included the North Side Gym in Elkhart and Clay High School in South Bend

Ryan Newman may not have spent TOO much time on his hometown track, but South Bend Motor Speedway has hosted PLENTY of racing’s biggest names throughout the years.

From the ASA Gran Marque series, and USAC glory days, to the weekly SBMS racers who made their name after punching the time clock… these high banks have been a battleground for them all.
