Palos Meltdown Mountain Bike Festival and Race The Palos Meltdown is Chicagoland’s premier mountain bike event. The race is held annually in the FPCC's Palos Trail System in Willow Springs, IL.

The 2024 Palos Meltdown is scheduled for August 25,2024. 2022 Race Weekend: August 6-7, 2022

The Palos Meltdown is Chicagoland’s premier mountain bike event. With racing for all ages and abilities this event draws riders from all over the region. In it's ninth consecutive year, the Meltdown is held as a fundraiser for CAMBr to help build and maintain mountain bike trails in Chicagoland. Registration will open in May 2022.
