The 2026 Summer Session starts TOMORROW! 😍 Level classes have a pretty good number of students with a promotion goal, so we will be working with those goals in mind through August. 😉 Reminder to incoming students from camp... campers enjoy a 50% discount on the one-time registration fee! Today's game, back by popular request: The Noodle Game! New students since the Wrap Party have now been indoctrinated. 😆 Lotta yelling. 🤣

In dance news, the Minis did a fantastic job helping teach our newest Mini what we do in class, and we got LOTS of running and jumping in this week! 😊

Our brand new dancers came away with a pile of new skills and FOUR pieces learned! They will hit the dance floor running next week!

Dancers in levels B1 through Advanced got lots of favorites danced, some new steps learned, and started working on some testing skills for Summer Session, by far our most popular time to work on leveling up!

Don't forget, new students coming from camp enjoy a 50% discount on registration... can't wait to start classes back up on Monday! 🎉

We do dance, I swear. Just ask the parents. 😆 Games today included one-handed paper un-crumpling (not pictured, but which Maci and Vashti smoked everybody at, 3 out of 4 times) and relays while keeping 3 balloons pinned... no suspension phase allowed. The rules I gotta make here. 🤣🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

Our very Beginner cloggers are up to FOUR pieces now! All levels in Session 1 worked on some new things as well as got to do some stuff from memory.

Session 2 spent today running the spicy version of Misty Morning and digging up old routines that we haven't done in a year... or two... and trying to remember them. 😄 So far, so good! Today's were Runaway Freight Train (not hard, but fast) and Uptown Funk (harder, so it took longer). We are having a blast!

We dance, I promise... just ask our feet, especially in another 2 days. 😅 But game time is ALWAYS a blast! We did a best of 3 Cups Game today and had a paper plate-ball-cone serpentine relay that made several dancers lose their minds. Good times. 🤣🤣

Y'all, the Minis class... they're so darn cute. 😊 It is SO COOL to watch them learn things! Today they got to have the big kids participate in the penguin walking (ouch, but in a good way) with them. It was great. 😁

Our brand new cloggers knocked out another 3 new steps, and with that, another whole new piece! They are FLYIN'!

Also in session 1, students in Beginner 1, Beginner 2, and Intermediate 1 are looking to test soon, so we started going over some steps and test pieces today, along with some other fun dances! 💃🕺

Session 2 saw some more "Oh man I forgot about that one, can we do it again?!" (we have a list going on the white board 😆) and starting the spicier version of Misty Morning. Gonna be a barn burner by the time we get up to full speed! 😃

Y'all, our dancers ROCKED IT today, even though we don't have photo evidence. 🤣

The Minis, as ever, were adorable. 😊 They were super excited to be back on the dance floor, and to welcome a brand new friend! They get to help teach how to do things, which is always a thrill when you're a little!

Our brand new cloggers learned the beginning foundations of clogging and got ALL THE WAY THROUGH their very first piece! Tomorrow will bring review, some new steps, and a second piece started! 🎉

Beginner 1, 2, and Intermediate 1 students were just happy to hit the dance floor again and got to choose their favorites to run through (two of those classes chose their recital pieces 😄), and we started a new studio piece that most levels will be able to participate in!

Intermediate 2 and Advanced got a few students that decided to challenge themselves with some harder things, did a few pieces they've just missed, and started the same new studio piece, which we will use as a foundation to spice things up a smidge over the next couple of days. 😈

Okay, Games, day 1. 🤣 Miss Lori and her phone are kinda busy during camp, so you get what little she does plus what parents shoot. 😁 Today, that was the marble game. And also an advanced feature. 🤣🤣

Marble game, 30 seconds rounds:
