🚧WILLOUGHBY ROAD CLOSURES - Sunday, Sept 13 🚧

The Downtown Willoughby 5k is an annual event that brings over 1,700 runners to DTW from over 130 cities, to run and celebrate while raising funds for Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. In our first 13 years of organizing the DTW 5k, we have donated $238,000 to Make-A-Wish.

To keep everyone safe, the Willoughby Police Department and the City of Willoughby will be temporarily closing the streets highlighted on the map below on
Sunday, September 13th from approximately 9:30am - 11:15am.

The DTW 5k starts at 10:15am and all runners and walkers are off the course by 11:15am. These are the times most critical to having no cars on the race route.

Police will be posted along the race route if you should need any help reaching your intended destination.

Join Jen from Harmony Studios as she leads a pre-race warm-up at 9:30am this Sunday before the 14th Annual Downtown Willoughby 5k (race start time of 10:15am). Meet on Third Street after the roads close and get all stretchy-like.

🚨 Packet Pickup 🚨

Get ready to pick up all of your race goodies this weekend at Second Sole - Mentor (8791 Mentor Ave, Mentor). There are two dates and times available:

Friday, September 11th: 11:30am - 2:00pm
Saturday, September 12th: 11:30am - 6:00pm

Rather wait until the last minute? No worries. We have a limited race day packet pick up, Sunday, Sept 13th in front of the Willoughby Post Office from 8:00am until 9:30am.

An email was just sent to all participants with their QR code for check-in. Please have this email printed or available on your phone for us to scan. If you can't make it, forward this email to a friend to pick up for you with your QR code.

PARKING for the DTW 5k on Sunday, Sept 13th. Plenty of free parking lots are available around the start/finish line. Little potential hiccup this year with parking at Todd Field. One section will only MAYBE be open, depending on construction equipment. Watch the parking page on the dtw5k.com website for any last minute updates.
