Congratulations to our Varsity Team for winning the Sectional Championship Game on Wednesday night against West Geauga. After a scoreless 80 minutes and another scoreless 30 minutes of overtime, the Rebels win the game with making 4 of 4 penalty kicks. Our defense was outstanding for 110 minutes and numerous saves from Kellen Nocera. "Thank You" to our parents, fans, AD and wife, and the great support from the Willoughby South Lady Rebels Soccer Players, in the last photo. Next game is Revere, who we played in last years tournament, on Thursday night.

Congratulations to our soccer programs four senior players this season. Owen Colonna, Caleb Priebe, Lucas Schmidt and Cameron Yirava, all four are four-year South soccer players. They are excellent student athletes, and we are honored to have them and their parents with us the past four seasons. We celebrated then on Tuesday night and proud of their play this season. Best of Luck to all of you with all of your future plans.

We're Back !!!! South Athletic Boosters is having a Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The last group induction was held in 2019. Anyone is invited to attend this banquet and share this flier. Please read the information and the inductees names on the flier.

Our Soccer Programs Senior Banners are now on the fence at the South stadium field. Congratulations to Owen, Caleb, Luke and Cameron. Wishing all of you a 'Great Senior Season'.

Another 'Coach Bencina' Alumni Game is in the history books. For the 3rd time in the past 5 years the game ended in tie at a 3 - 3 score. So penalty kicks again to break the tie and the Blue Team (odd year graduates) beat the Gray Team (even year graduates) 4 - 2. Special Thank You to several 'experience' alumni player: Patrick Harrold '03, Greg Elliot '05, Eugene Coada '07, Matt Elliot '08, Ryan Streb '09, Kyle Hamon '09. We need more odd year graduates for next years game. This year Gray 4 subs, and Blue had 11 subs, but 1 Blue player did switch over to Gray !!
