The secret to getting ahead is getting started…

Regardless of a person’s past athletic experience or current level of fitness, everyone who first comes to The Bar Athletics is provided with the opportunity to learn basic techniques, terminology, pre-workout warm ups and exercises before participating in classes. That is why we offer PERSONALIZED Athlete Development Sessions [AKA 1-on-1 sessions].

Before you sign up for your Athlete Development Sessions (ADS) we suggest you set up a FREE No Sweat Intro. The No Sweat Intro is designed to help you understand what we do, why we do it, and answer any questions that you may have. You will be introduced to some of the basic movements and examples of how we scale workouts for each individual. Following the FREE No Sweat Intro you will schedule 3 Athlete Development Sessions with a coach! ADS’s are an opportunity for our coaches to fully understand your goals and evaluate every individual according to The Bar Athletics Skills Chart. This chart was designed to expedite your short and long term fitness goals, familiarize you with the core movements such as squats, pushing/pulling mechanics all while gaining kinistethic or muscle awareness. We can’t wait to assist you in meeting your fitness goals! Sign up for a No Sweat Intro TODAY!

A little behind-the-scenes listen into what songs Chad, our CEO and practitioner, is listening to while training.

What's your go-to training song?

Real people. Real movement. Real results.

One of the best parts of what we do is seeing how the right approach to movement can change the way someone feels and moves in everyday life.

We’re grateful to our clients who trust us with their bodies, put in the work, and share their experiences along the way.

Here’s what one of our clients, Kait, had to say about her experience at Cleveland Biomechanics. 👇

The way you sit, stand, sleep, or move throughout the day can create patterns your body has to compensate for over and over again.

Small habits can add up.

If you’ve been dealing with pain that keeps coming back, it may be time to look beyond the painful area and pay attention to the patterns creating it.

Your body is always adapting. Let’s make sure it’s adapting in the right direction. 🧠

Sometimes progress isn't about lifting heavier or pushing harder.

It's about finally understanding your body.

It's about finding the reason behind the pain, the limitation, or the movement that never quite feels right. It's about learning how to move with intention instead of constantly working around what hurts.

Our goal isn't just to make you stronger. It's to help you understand your body, address the root of the problem, and build movement that supports you for the long run.

And hearing this from a client reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

Your body is giving you information. You just have to learn how to listen.

The gym you've been looking for.

At CLE Biomechanics, we're not just here to give you another workout and send you on your way.

We look at how your body moves, where it's compensating, and what may actually be contributing to the issue...then we build your training around it.

Because sometimes the answer isn't "work harder." It's understanding why something isn't working in the first place.

We focus on movement, mechanics, strength, and building a body that can perform better both inside and outside the gym.

Stop working around the problem.

Start addressing it. Your body is worth understanding.

The Function Neck does what its name implies.

It helps your neck function better with the rest of your body.

So what does that mean for you or anyone who uses it?

Neck pain decreases.
Headaches become less severe.
Your jaw line starts to develop.
Simple daily tasks like waking up out of bed in the morning become more enjoyable and less problematic.

Yes, I know the function neck looks odd, but that's only because you are unfamiliar with it, and probably haven't used one yet.

The head weighs around 12 pounds.

If your neck isn't strong enough or isn't structurally integrated to the rest of your body, that means your joints have to do all the work.

If your joints are doing all the work to hold your heavy head upright, then your joints wear down and send you messages that you're in pain. Something is wrong.

If you tried everything else and have not been satisfied with your outcome, come try the function neck for yourself at Cleveland Biomechanics and see what real integrated training feels like.

Mirrors aren't just for checking your form.

They're a powerful tool for improving body awareness.

When you can see how you're moving in real time, your brain receives immediate visual feedback. That makes it easier to recognize movement patterns, make corrections, and build better habits that carry over outside the gym.

At Cleveland Biomechanics, we use mirrors as another layer of feedback. Not to focus on appearance, but to help you understand how your body moves.

Because when you can see it, you can change it.

Ready to move with more confidence? Book your assessment today.

Chad is the CEO and a Biomechanics Practitioner at CLE Biomechanics, but his journey here didn’t start as the owner.

He was first introduced to functional patterns as a client, experiencing firsthand how biomechanics can transform the way you move, feel, and live. After seeing the impact it had on his own life, he became passionate about helping others experience the same results.

Today, Chad leads our team with a patient-first approach, combining expertise with genuine care to help every client move better, hurt less, and get back to doing what they love.

His story is proof that sometimes the best leaders are the ones who started exactly where you are.

Biomechanics FAQ: Your Questions, Answered.
There's a lot of information online when it comes to pain, movement, and recovery, but not all of it tells the whole story.

That's why we're starting a FAQ series to answer some of the questions we hear most often, including:

•Why do my hips always feel tight?
•Why does one side hurt more than the other?
•Do I need more mobility or more strength?

Understanding why your body moves the way it does is the first step toward moving better.
Have a question you'd like us to answer next?

Leave it in the comments...we may feature it in an upcoming post!
