VT Elite Track & Field Official USATF Sanctioned T&F club for people ages 7-100

Focused on throwing events, mainly the Javelin throw, but will also accommodate other events for the Junior Olympics. VT Elite coaching credentials:
Chris Kirkpatrick was a former VT State record holder in the javelin (old rule - previous 2002). He has a PR of 248'-3"

*coached the past 3 VT State D1 champions in boys javelin (2010, 2011, 2012).
*Coached the 2010 & 2011 girls DIII State Champion


*Coached the Rhode Island 2012 boys javelin state champion
*In 2011 3 of his throwers finished top 10 in the country at the Junior Olympic National Championships

General information

During the summer, VT Elite meets 2-3 times per week to train for the Junior Olympic National Championships. Junior Olympic New England Championships, Fitchburg, MA 6/23/2012 Junior Olympic Region I Championships, Long Island, NY, 7/7-7/9/2012 Junior Olympic National Championships, Baltimore, MD, Last week of July All athletes help split costs for these events. The more athletes, the lower the cost. Coaching is free, all that is asked that coaches travel expenses are split by all traveling athletes families.
