Great work Team Colorado! Congratulations to SSG Lisl Lefevre for 3rd Place in the Senior Women's Sprint and Pursuit, and SGT Jacob Coogan for 3rd Place in the Novice Men's Sprint and Pursuit. The open team placed 6th in the Relay Race and 4th in the Patrol Race.

Day 3 at the 2023 CNGB Biathlon Championships. The open team placed 6th in the team relay. The finish was a close run affair with AK, OR and CO finishing within 15 seconds of each other.

National Guard Biathlon - Thanks for the hard work to prepare and maintain the course for the individual events during the 2023 CNGB Biathlon Championships under VERY challenging conditions. Now on to the team events. Keep up the good work!

Another great job by Team Colorado during the Pursuit Race at the 2023 CNGB Biathlon Championships. SSG Lefevre placed 3rd in the Master's Women category, and SGT Coogan placed 1st in the Novice Men's category. LTC Little Owl was the high shooter with a hit percentage of 75%, cleaning two targets. Tomorrow brings a well-earned rest day with the NGB Biathlon Congress and some team training.

Since the inception of the World University Games, the United States had never won a FISU medal in men’s biathlon. That was until Bjorn Westervelt, of Stowe, Vermont, competed in his first competition of the Games on Wednesday at Mount Van Hoevenberg.
