The Lucky Tip part of our stable name came from all of.our dogs having lucky white tips at the end of their tail. Apparently this fox got the memo. Not only does he have a lucky white tip but he also has the longest tail I have ever seen on a fox. He fits right in!!

Gloria update. The last two weeks have been challenging. She started doing what I call an elephant on a ball dance that was highly unusual and obviously showing she was in pain. I posted the video of her doing it only as an educational video for anyone else who may see a horse doing it. This was one of the shorter episodes. At first I was thinking it was something neurological causing it which was very scary!! Long story short she not only had a bad follicle but also a bad infection in her uterus. I blame the import process for that because they stick all kinds of things up into their reproductive system to test for diseases but that's a whole other story. During this discovery process we also did an autoimmune blood test that just came back indicating EPM. Based on her condition when she arrived we believe she had it before arrival. I'm excited that we are figuring out some of the pieces of the puzzle and she will be feeling better soon!

What a journey it has been importing Gloria. I have to admit I panicked a little when I received pictures of her from the quarantine process. This particular picture was taken just as she got off the plane in Miami. The journey is hard on them!! But she is a happy girl now and it's all been worth it. I have absolutely no regrets and I hope she doesn't either :)

It was another brutal 20 degree night but no wind so the horses were able to be out. The full moon was so bright it was like daytime. It provided me the opportunity to have one of my ultimate favorite moments of being able to see the horses laying down in the pasture while sleeping in my bed. The moonlight made the frost glisten like snow. It was exquisite! A true Ying Yang night here in sunny COLD FL!!!
