’Twas the Morning of Race Day'

‘Twas the morning of race day, and all through the lot,
The setup was buzzing — ready or not.
With coffee in hand and a map in the breeze,
We guessed where to place all the tables and tees.

Drinks were unloaded with students in stride,
Hauling and stacking with hustle and pride.
Thousands of rolls from bakery to bin,
And the stage is set — let the fun now begin!

So here’s to the chaos, the coffee, the crew,
To volunteers making the magic come true.
The countdown is over — the fun starts today!
So stretch out, smile wide, and enjoy the whole day.

We’re ready for runners, for walkers, for cheer,
For kids chasing medals and friends grabbing beer.
The start line awaits — so come join the fray...
