Canaan, WV – Due to wet conditions the second day of the Wally Edgell WV Division II invitational Golf Tournament was cancelled. The tournament finished with just the one round in the books for all teams competing.

Women's Cross Country Preseason Poll

Vienna, WV – Ohio Valley University women's Cross Country was picked 9 by the coaches in the Great Midwest Preseason Coaches Poll presented by Under Armour. The team picked up 72 votes outdistancing conference newcomer Tiffin who was next in the poll with 56 points.

Monday afternoon, Matt and I mentioned that Jay Wright, HC of Villanova was perhaps the best dressed basketball coach in the NCAA. I imagine that after the game, on Monday evening, he was probably the worst dressed coach as he probably pulled a "Woody" and ripped his clothes right off, after suffering the worst defeat that Villanova has suffered as Wright as coach.
