We're Back – After a two-year "Time-Out", we're ready to Play Ball!

We know it’s been a while (okay, two years!) since our last post, but like any good comeback story, we’ve been busy behind the scenes. Now we're dusting off our baseball caps and hitting the field – and our page – with some big news!

Registration is Now Open!

This season, we’re expanding our league. We’re excited to introduce a new Babe Ruth level for ages 13-16, so players from ages 4 through 16 are now eligible to join the action. Whether you’re just starting out or ready to step up to the plate, there’s a spot for you.

Our Player Levels:

Youngster Levels:
• T-Ball: Ages 4-6 (Kindergarten to 1st grade)
• Rookies: Ages 7-8 (1st to 2nd grade)

Baseball Levels:
• Minors: Ages 9-10 (3rd to 4th grade)
• Majors: Ages 11-12 (5th to 6th grade)
• Babe Ruth: Ages 13-16 (7th to 10th grade)

Softball Levels:
• 8U: Ages 7-8 (1st to 2nd grade)
• 10U: Ages 9-10 (3rd to 4th grade)
• 12U: Ages 11-12 (5th to 7th grade)

Note: These age and grade ranges are flexible. We may adjust placements based on skill levels and competition to ensure the best experience for every player.

We Need You – On and Off the Field!

As we gear up for an exciting season this Spring, we’re also on the lookout for volunteers to fill key roles. Whether you can coach, manage concessions, help maintain our fields, or serve as a Board member, your talent is needed. Drop me a message with your availability and role preference – let’s team up to make this season a home run!

This is community baseball.

Before our Williamstown playoff game between Rotary and Countryside, the Mt Greylock Baseball team came out and was honored for their recent State Championship.

We thanked the team, coaches, and parents for their commitment and hard work throughout the season, bringing the State Championship back home.

Many of the high school players stayed for the entire game, making this a true highlight for the younger players and families. Thank you to everyone involved.

Come to Bud Anderson field tomorrow at 5PM for music, fun, and celebration before the playoff game with Countryside v Rotary on June 21st.

The MIAA D5 State Campion Mt Greylock Boys Baseball team is coming to Bud Anderson to celebrate and bring the championship home!

Congrats to Sam Bullet on the first GRAND SLAM in a while at Bud Anderson field! The game was an instant classic. Get down to a field to take in some community baseball if you get a chance!

Congratulations to the Elks's Sam Bullet for Hitting The First GrandSlam of the 2022 season for NBIYB over at Bud Anderson Field in Williamstown. I personally can not remember when this was last dome during one of our games . Hats of to you, AWESOME JOB Sammy !!! Way to go !!!

Come Join us & Williamstown Cal Ripken & Lanesborough Independent Youth Baseball. This will be the VERY FIRST TIME EVER DONE @ FALLON FIELD!! (Made possible by Sherriff Thomas Bowler & The Berkshire County Sheriff's Dept.)

We will be Kicking of the Season UNDER THE LIGHTS w/ a BASEBALL BONAZA Friday Evening May 6th 6pm . ALL proceeds will Benefit the youth of All 3 Organizations! Please come out and support the North County Baseball Players..... We have an exciting evening on tap starting @ 6pm, see Flyer below...... All Majors and Minors teams encouraged & welcome. (Must wear uniforms)...We will have several Skills Events both individual and Team. Excellent Awards Straight from Cooperstown NY. Followed by a Home Run Derby for our 11/12 year old Majors... Our proud new Sponsor Rip City Academy, Owners Kevin Donati & Alex Carusotto of Berkshire County will lend a hand & help run this portion of the Derby as they will supply the use of a couple key items to help make the evening a sucess!! Other Great Surprises & Gifts to be part of a Chinese Auction. Plenty of money to be won.... w/ a large 50 /50 and HUGE....AH Scratch Ticket Tree...........The evening will wrap up with the Live Music of CJ Field in the Pavillion compliments of the Greylock club, adult beverages will be available for purchase. Food vendors will be on site as well, Matt Tatro /Tres Ninos will have the Taco truck on site, with other Vendors TBD. So come on over on a empty stomach & leave on a full one. You don't have to have an affliation to join the fun just come and support our Youth and make a small donation & most of all Have FUN!!!!!!
