Community Pool and Fitness Center Members,
This message is to inform you of two projects taking place this summer that will impact our facility: installation of a new HVAC system for the pool and a high school parking lot improvement project.
The pool HVAC system removal and replacement will begin May 1, with a projected completion in July. During this time, the pool will be closed. We understand this may be inconvenient; however, this proactive upgrade is necessary to prevent the possibility of an unexpected system failure that could result in a longer, unplanned closure. This project was identified as a priority, and completing it now helps ensure more reliable operation in the future.
Please note that the weight room and walking track will remain open and will not be affected.
For yearly prepaid members, we will offer a membership extension to reflect the duration of the pool closure. Once the project is complete, you may request an updated renewal date at the main window in the pool area.
For monthly members, memberships may be paused during the closure period if desired. Please note that if your membership is paused, access to the fitness center will also be suspended during that time.
The second project involves improvements to the high school parking lot. Construction will begin after school is out and is scheduled to continue through mid-July. During this time, the entrance off Vanneter Road will be closed. Access to the facility will remain available via the Mitchell Road entrance. Parking will be limited to the overflow lot located near the soccer field and tennis courts.
While these projects may temporarily affect normal operations, they will result in meaningful upgrades to our facilities. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these important improvements.
Thank you.
