Congratulations to Avery and Bryar Powell for completing requirements for their next belt. Avery is now a Junior Shodan Ho Black Belt. Bryar is now 4th Kyu Brown Belt. Ns thank to all the parents for surprising me with new mats for thed dojo! They feel so good on our feet!🥋

I am devastated to learn that my very dear friends, Senseis Joe and Martha Morejon, lost their oldest daughter, Isabelle, in a car accident early this morning. She was just 22. As KICK karatekas know, the sorrow of losing a fellow black belt and friend touches us all. Please pray for this family. KICK will be belt testing Oct. 1st. Practice your kihons, kihon idos, and katas. The black belt test will take about 30 hours to complete. God Speed!
