I am flexible with what I teach, reach out and ask about what kind of programs I can offer you. Black Hound Jiu Jitsu Club of Williamston is led by Head Instructor Luis R Villafranca who has devoted nearly two decades of his life to training and studying a variety of martial arts. Luis earned the rank of black belt in April of 2023 from Master Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec (4th Degree Black Belt under
Master Renzo Gracie) out of the Silver Fox BJJ school in Saddle Brook, NJ. While Luis is most experienced in Jiu Jitsu, he has also trained and studied Boxing, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Judo, Muay Thai, Karate, and Kung-Fu. Luis has also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Seton Hall University in 2012. With a strong passion for learning and self-improvement combined with his background in psychology, Head Instructor Luis R Villafranca feels that martial arts training is one of the most excellent vehicles for growth and reaching one's own limits of their human potential. Regardless of your goals, whether you want to become a professional fighter, or even go as far as winning a UFC World Championship belt one day, or you simply enjoy training combat sports as a hobby, martial arts training will improve your physical fitness level, self-esteem, and mental health all while you learn the potentially live saving skill of self-defense.
