West Branch Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame

The West Branch Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 1974 and serves 15 high schools (Central Mountain, Bucktail, Jersey Shore Area, Williamsport Area, St. John Neumann Regional Academy, South Williamsport, Hughesville, Loyalsock Township, Montoursville Area, Muncy Area, Montgomery Area, Warrior Run, Milton Area, Lewisburg Area, Mifflinburg Area), four colleges (Lo

ck Haven University, Penn College, Lycoming College, Bucknell University), the Williamsport Crosscutters, Little League International and a plethora of other sporting organizations throughout Clinton, Lycoming, Union and Northern Northumberland counties. More than 420 athletes, coaches and administrators have been honored at the annual Hall of Fame banquet during the nearly 50-year history of the organization. Honorees are chosen each summer as a call for nominees comes each June to all voting members before ballots are mailed each August ahead of the annual induction banquet on the second Sunday of November each year.
