LHS’s record was 7 and 2, putting us in 2nd place. What a way to end the season!
This year we wanted to win, but we were well prepared to call it a “rebuilding season” as a mid-level team. There were a lot of obstacles to overcome.
The previous leadership wasn’t allowed to continue this year. Coach Tommy, Coach Ivan, Coach Bryce, and honorary senior Preston have all played, but have not coached. Three out of the four coaches are teenagers. We by far have the youngest coaching staff in the league! There was a ton of trepidation heading into the season. The boys knew the season wouldn’t be “the same”, they might not end up on or near the top, or if we’d have enough players. Even if those were guaranteed, our players are ineligible for playoffs and the championship games. Regardless,
our boys wanted to play and they stepped up and figured it out.
We are proud of what we’ve accomplished and we are so excited to see what is to come next year. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a fabulous season! Go Rams 🐏

Liam Hasham wore #47 in our final season game against Grassfield. Liam finishes out his HS high school career playing on the Lafayette team for 5 years. Liam is a physical, formidable player with a high lax IQ and the pillar of Defense. This senior will be missed but he leaves his legacy of #47 initiative which will continue on as a Lafayette tradition. 🧡

Andrew Buckley, senior captain and midfielder, was selected to wear the #47 jersey against Menchville. Andrew scored an impressive 10 goals after being celebrated for senior night and truly embodies the spirit and skill our team has come to rely on. His leadership on the field is a key part of our team’s strength and motivation. Congratulations Andrew! 🧡 🎗️🥍
