Had a blast at Moler tonight. With a heat race win we started on the pole of the feature. After a rocky start we dropped back to 6th or 7th. Rode the cushion back to a 4th place run until we had a dramatic ride on the wall on the closing laps of the race finishing 5th with a flat right rear. Racing was right on the wall all 25 laps, right where we like to be. Thanks Michael Gladwell family, and Ray for coming out to support. Excited to race at Atomic Speedway this coming Saturday!

After taking off almost the entire last race season due to work and buying a house, I am happy to announce that I will be back racing this season behind the wheel of the #44 sprint car of Connor Young Motorsports. I am looking forward to getting back on the track and putting a good season together running the Ohio Thunder IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car Series with Connor. We will release a schedule as we get closer to the start of race season.

To say this weekend was a disappointment would be an understatement. We started Friday night at Moler where we completely missed the setup and ended up finishing in 10th place. Then we went to Lawrenceburg Saturday night where we were pretty good on speed qualifying in the middle of the 29 car field. We started our heat race on the pole and finished 2nd earning enough points to transfer straight into the feature. The first start to the feature was ugly as a car got into the backstretch wall flipping violently and collected a few other cars. The second start to the feature saw us on the front row outside since the first 3 cars on the outside row were eliminated in the first incident. We take the green flag and head off into the first turn where the leader chose the top line and Austin chose the middle, however the car on the top line thought it would be a good idea to turn left down the track and right across the nose of our car causing our car to flip and destroy our car. Austin is okay thankfully but still sore.
At this point we are done for the season and will figure out what will be doing in the future. Thanks to everyone that follows our page and the people that stop by in support of us at the track.
