We will not be having a 2055 Heros game this year. Due to not being able to match up schedules, as well as, I had multiple bilateral PEs (blood clots in lungs) that has required a lot of appointments, pulmonary rehab and numerous tests, which put me late to even schedule this event to begin with. I apologize we will see if we can all get on the same page and schedule on time for next year. Thank you!

I don’t think I have ever shared why I do this game. When Deputy Bill Brewer passed, I felt led to do something positive and fun in honor of Bill. I felt like all the conversations I had with him in the ER about football, Williamsburg and his son that Williamsburg needed to honor him and remember him. I felt like he would have really liked playing flag football so with the help of others we created this event. It allows these two group of Hero’s come together and be competitive together. It allows them to have fun and a great time for each side to fight to win this rivalry they have. They have such a great time. It’s such a positive/fun way to remember someone who was such a hero and passed in such a tragic way. It allows us to each year take time to just remember Deputy Bill Brewer! So Thank you to everyone who supports this game! ❤️
