Tomorrow and Sunday we will be running a 50/50 raffle at the Back Mountain High School Shootout. All proceeds will benefit our friend Dale Rapson. Dale was a longtime Meyers Boys Basketball assistant and most recently the head girls coach at Wilkes-Barre Area.
Unfortunately Dale has been battling liver cancer for the last 5 years and has made countless trips to Sloan Kettering for treatments to battle this horrible disease. Now with a heavy heart, we must share that Dale’s doctors have advised him they are discontinuing treatments because there is nothing more they can do to control the cancer. They have ordered home hospice care for him.
Dale has made an impact on so many peoples lives assisting so many students as a teacher and a coach. Now he needs an assist from you. Dale and his family, especially his wife Janine and their three daughters, Rilynn (12), Nadia (9), and Kennedi (4) are facing unimaginable challenges ahead. This is one way we can help them through this difficult time. The funds raised will help with daily expenses and extensive medical bills.

50/50 tickets will be available at the admission table at the tournament. Tickets will be $5 each so please help us raise money for the Rapson family.
