Point Township- NSSC's 15 Lightning team overcame a hot evening and an even hotter West Branch team to pull out a 3-2 victory. After falling behind 2-0 in the first half. The 15 Lightning team rallied scoring 3 second half goals to come away with the victory. NSSC used the first half deficit as motivation coming out strong scoring their first goal within the first 90 seconds of the second half. Then following that up with the equalizer a few minutes later by Eliana, her second goal of the game. In the final minutes of play, Eliana assisted Blakelee on the go ahead goal capitalizing on a West Branch violation. "The girls showed heart in the second half," said coach Troy. "It was hot, we were down and we could've easily given up. But besides the effort from the girls, I thought it was great to see the excitement from the entire team when their teammates scored." NSSC's 15 Lightning has their last home match this Thursday at 615 pm against Balls Mills.
