We are so passionate about giving girls a place where they feel comfortable to try something new, to push outside their comfort zone, and trust themselves enough to take chances. A place where mistakes are part of learning, confidence is built through experience, and every athlete is encouraged to grow at her own pace. Because sometimes the biggest wins have absolutely nothing to do with the scoreboard—they come from realizing you’re capable of more than you thought🩵🖤

Today we welcome our athletes to the first night of practice for the fall session! Six weeks of practice and one tournament. Our U8 athletes start at 5:00 and our U10 athletes start at 6:15! U8 will have Coach Courtney and U10 will have Coach Allie, Coach Lexi and Coach Emma.

Please be patient with parking as we have a very large group coming tonight. We can’t wait to welcome you all to BRAVE FHC🩵🖤

One year ago today we got the keys🔑

It was extremely overwhelming walking in for the first time and seeing all the work that was needed. Knowing we would have to count on so many people to help us get to where we need to go. But deep down we always saw this as an amazing opportunity to create something so different.

Without the help of so many people we never would have been able to transform this space into what it is now. The hardest thing about starting something new is you get to see in black and white who your people are. Who shows up for you and who suddenly and unexpectedly disappears. That is so incredibly hard but we now realize what a blessing that realization can be.

If BRAVE can teach you anything we hope it teaches you to chase your big dreams. Go after them with all you have. There will always be those who try and make you feel small, give them a big smile as you prove them all wrong. Take the high road, when things get hard lean on those around you and never shrink yourself to fit into places that no longer serve you.

If you have something that was put on your heart we encourage you to chase it. The road is not easy but it is so worth it. We are so thankful for this space and every single person who helped us get here.

Coaching is a labor of love and we look at this space as a way to serve the local field hockey community. A place where mental health is put at the highest priority and our athletes are at the forefront of everything we do. It’s not about money or self proclaimed Fame, it’s about the young women who play. We promise not to make this journey about us, this will always be about our athletes.

We love our athletes, our coaches, our families and we are just so thankful today and everyday to be in this space.
