Everyone wants the flashy results—few want the boring consistency that actually gets them.
Stop chasing perfect workouts or the “best” plan.
Eat real food most of the time.
Show up even when it’s inconvenient.
Keep doing the basics on repeat.
That’s how you build strength that lasts (and doesn’t fall apart the second life gets messy).

For years, the old protein guideline was 0.8g per kilogram of bodyweight — which works out to ~55g/day for a 150-lb person and ~73g/day for a 200-lb person.
The problem? That’s just enough to avoid deficiency, not enough to thrive.
New research suggests 1.2–1.6g per kilogram, which looks more like:
🍗 150 lbs → 82–109g/day
🥩 200 lbs → 109–146g/day
Bottom line: if you want to build or maintain muscle, recover well, and stay strong as you age, you probably need more protein than you think.
An easy solution is to pack in 20-40g of protein via a protein shake every day to stay strong and healthy.

I will never forget the first time I heard, “The greatest mistake is to keep making the same mistake over & over again without learning from it.”

There is nothing wrong with not reaching your goals. Use it as a learning experience to get better & create a different outcome next time.

It may mean you have to work harder, be more consistent or give up foods that you didn't the last time around.

Regardless, don’t let past failures discourage you from continuing to work towards your goals.

Remember this...

"You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call 'failure' is not falling down, but staying down."
