New pilots to atos the only way you’ll really understand the capabilities are by flying with an experienced atos pilot. Communication headsets are vital. New pilots tend to do big circles when you can actually put these things on a tip and core the smallest thermals ever. They also want to straighten up by themselves so you actively want to maintain your position. Having a pilot who flys like this above you telling you to bank more and more and more until your matching them is key ! I learned from Ollie Gregory this exact same way . Today I passed it on the Scott and it was an eye opener for him to climb that fast and bank that hard and still go up . He picked up a huge amount of info yesterday in 2 hours and I could clearly see it . Nice work buddy

Want some tutoring. Show up last weekend in October to Lookout Mountain and fly with us. You’ll need a comm headset like a sena 60s or a 50c if you want to get video at the same time. They work perfect , hands free .

Another bangin day. Blue day , bullet thermals, some drift. Got a chance to use the sena headsets and do a little coaching on how tight to bank an atos. Scott is killin it today👌
