The Martin family has deep and longstanding ties to GWYC, with generations of the family contributing to the Club’s traditions.

This past Labor Day Weekend, GWYC was thrilled to welcome back former YSP sailor and instructor, Ashley Ridler (early 2000s)! Ashley enjoyed sailing around Sunset Lake and Pirate Island with current YSP sailor and instructor, Brendan Mack. Ashley was Brendan’s middle-school Spanish teacher back home. While visiting GWYC, Ashley and Brendan took a photo together with the perpetual trophies that they share: the GWYC Club Champion for Sunfish and the Commodore’s Regatta Champion for the Sunfish Class.

Our surprise first tasting on tonight's GWYC Ice Cream Crawl 5.0 is Douglass Creamery ice cream. The crawl starts at 5:30 from GWYC with stops at Happy 's, Cone Crazy & Duffer's after our on site sampling. Cost is $12pp. Hope to see you there.
