We had a wonderful Week 5 - Olympics!!

Wow! What an Amazing Week 4: Color Clash! Even despite the weather, we had an absolutely amazing week.

Our two teams, The Purple Pirates and the Blue Jays battled it out in a variety of competitions. From completing puzzles, to games of Capture the Flag and Dodgeball, to songs and chants and banners, both teams showed their stuff - ultimately the Blue Jays were our winners thanks to their great banner and remix of “Beat It”

We got to visit FunZ in Westfield for our Field Trip this week which was a blast! Campers spent two hours jumping and playing a variety of games, and going down some crazy slides!

We even held a Connect 4 Tournament to keep us busy while it rained.

Thanks as always to all our Spec Families who always support us. We are grateful to lots of families who donated supplies to us this week.

WEEK 2 UPDATES!!

Hello Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to welcome your campers back to Spec for Week 2: Shark Tank!

This week will be full of water games, culminating in a Water Relay Race! We will also channel our inner “Sharks” and create inventions for Groups to present Friday Morning!

Here’s some important reminders:

☀️Hot Weather: It will be a warm week! Please ensure your campers have applied sunscreen BEFORE camp. Please also ensure you send your camper with a hat. We will likely enact our Heat Policy this week which states that anyone without a hat must stay under the pavilion if it is consistently above 85 Degrees.

🩱🩳Bathing Suits: Please send your camper on Monday already dressed in a bathing suit, especially if it is their first week at camp, as we will be swim testing. It’s not a bad idea to wear one each day (except Thursday) as we will be doing a lot of water activities in the AM.

🚌💵 Field Trip and Cash: Campers can bring $3-$5 a day for Snack Snack in the afternoons, where they can purchase ONE item!

Money cannot be brought on Field Trips. While we tried last week, it is just too hard to manage when we are not at camp. Please send your campers each day with a packed lunch that can be kept fresh outside of a fridge.

📋Forms and Waivers: I’ve attached our weekly Newsletter below, along with our Field Trip Permission form. We will be visiting Shaker Bowl!For those who like to print, feel free to print, sign, and bring to camp. Otherwise, we will have copies available Monday Morning.

We will also be requiring permission slips to use the Docks in the afternoons, starting this Monday.

Spec Parents -

Thanks for a great Week 1 (Aloha Summer!)

Despite the rainy start, we had a fantastic week full of everything Spec has to offer. We got to know our campers, got back into bracelet making, played some new board games, and made the best of the rain while under the pavilion.

We were able to host Science Heroes on Tuesday, who showed off the magic of science to all our campers!

Wednesday and Friday, we were able to use the courts and fields, playing games like Kickball, Drip Drip Drop, and World Cup!

On Thursday, we were able to visit Interskate 91, where campers had a blast roller skating and playing laser tag.

Thank you to all the parents, guardians, campers, staff, and CITS who helped make our first week a great one!

Week 6!

Thank you all for another amazing summer at Spec! We had so many new field trips, campers, entertainment, activities and a whole lot of memories! I hope you all have a great end to the summer and an even better start of the school year!🤍📚

And thank you parents and families for all the support and kindness during another fun summer. I will miss you all! ☀️
