Blake passed his yellow belt test today. Senpai Blake has been training Jiu Jitsu for about 4.5 years, and Karate Jutsu for about 6 months. He showed proficiency in the standard. He is on track and is helping teach kids class, he is a cornerstone to the school, and I couldn’t do it without him. I started this school for my kids, and it’s through them that it continues to grow. Organically born, from the name to the technique being taught. We are right on target and I don’t see any schools in AZ with this curriculum. What a great night!!!

Inside variation off Waza, super basic version here, it just gets nastier the more you work it. Students are picking it up, use the option that presents itself, when it goes dynamic, you need to be prepared!!! SITUATIONAL AWARENESS FOLKS!! I would also use this to create a space if I had multiple attackers. Great night in class, both kids training, can’t wait for next class!!
