The first ever Digger’s Detector Throwdown is coming to LDMA Duisenburg in California, and this one is built for people who want to swing a detector and bring home GOLD.
October 22 to 24, 2026
You’ll get two full days of detecting for real buried gold on private ground, plus the chance to gain access to Digger’s Gold Nugget Garden for even more gold.
Inside the Gold Nugget Garden, gold nuggets will be planted, ranging from under 1 gram all the way up to a massive 50 grams of nuggets grand prize.
Yes, you read that right.
One target could put 50 grams of gold nuggets in your hand.
You’ll also be hunting for special prize tokens, meeting other detectorists, sharpening your skills, and taking part in LDMA’s 50 Year Anniversary celebration.
Only 150 participant spots are available.
When it fills, it closes.
