Founded in 1985, the Wichita Warriors FC is an all volunteer non-profit youth soccer club primarily

Founded in 1985, the Wichita Warriors exist to promote and foster the growth of the game of soccer among the youth of Wichita Kansas and its surrounding areas; Goddard, Maize, Andale, Cheney, Valley Center, Colwich, and Derby.

The Club’s Primary Focus:
· good sportsmanship while developing leadership qualities among players, coaches, parents and spectators
· developing physical f

itness and mental alertness among the youth in our club
· creating an environment for growth of the youth into responsible citizens
· promoting and further developing the game of soccer among the area youth
· teaching and training soccer players and coaches

Coaching:
The Wichita Warriors FC is a small club with a lot of soccer experience. Our most veteran coach was inducted into the Kansas Coaches Hall of Fame in 2011 and was Coach of the Year at Friends University in 2003. Another coach is currently head coach of a local high school soccer team. In addition to six years’ experience competing in collegiate soccer, the Warriors coaches have played in the ODP (Olympic Development Program) and on a National Team. With combined coaching experience of more than 35 years, our coaches are prepared to take their teams from U8 to High School. The club and its coaches are three-time State Cup Champions and two time AAU National champs with countless tournament championships through the years. All Coaches have a National USSF "F" License and have completed the SCSA F License field training. One of the few clubs in the area to encourage multi-sport athletics. Not only do we work with our players around their other youth sport teams, we encourage their participation in other all athletics of their interest. We want to foster the love for the game of soccer; not mandate it.
