Founding Families - Founding Families are the people who help shape Pickle 4 Paws from the very beginning. This is about access, connection, and growing together over time.

Founding Families are not joining something finished. They are helping build something meaningful.

Your adult membership is locked in for life at $75. It will never increase.

Your family grows with you here. Kids have a clear path from childhood into adulthood while staying part of the same community.

You get priority access to court bookings before the general public.

I keep thinking about the kind of community I want to build with Pickle 4 Paws.

Not a place people rush in and out of, but a place where families grow together. Where kids learn early that joy and kindness belong in the same space, especially with animals. Where movement, laughter, and compassion are part of everyday life and rescue.

That’s why we’re creating something we’re calling our Founding Families.

This is for families who want to be here from the beginning. Who want to grow with us. Who want their kids to see that doing something fun can also do something meaningful.

We’re dreaming up experiences that feel different. Gentle yoga with kittens (either on the pickleball court or soaking up the sun in the 1,000 square foot heated/cooled adjacent space. Slow movement sessions with our senior dogs participating, with with downward dog stretches and sloppy soft kisses or simply soaking up love.

Calm mornings. Connected evenings. A space where nobody has to be perfect to belong.... and of course there is access 24/7 to pickleball that will be set up through courtreserve and a FOB through your phone for entry.

This is what rescue reimagined looks like to me. Thinking outside the box. Letting love show up in unexpected ways. Creating a place where helping animals happens naturally, simply by showing up together.

For a long time, I’ve believed that the things we love most do not have to live in separate worlds.

Movement. Community. Joy. Purpose. Rescue.

Pickle for Paws was born from that belief.

My name is Jen, and I’m the founder of Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary. I took a chance on what some people might call a crazy, beautiful idea. That faith, love, movement, and fun could come together in a way that saves more lives.

This is a private pickleball club, but it is so much more than a place to play. Every membership directly saves lives next door at Always & Furever’s Little Wichita Barn. Senior dogs who deserve peace and dignity. Neonatal kittens who need constant care. Animals who were overlooked and needed someone to believe in them a little longer.

Your membership saves lives next door. Literally.

This is rescue reimagined.
A different kind of shelter.
A different kind of membership.
A different way of showing up for animals and for each other.

What excites me most is not only what this space is, but what it will become.

Founding members will have exclusive access to community events that do not exist anywhere else. Fun movement sessions. Gathering days. And experiences like Sweating with the Oldies, where we move, laugh, and spend time with some of our senior dogs who thrive on human connection.

I also designed this space to welcome your furry spectators, or even your furry teammates. There is a separate gated area for dogs who come to watch, complete with water bowls and cozy beds so they can relax while you play. All I ask is proof of vaccinations so everyone stays safe and healthy.

For me, leaving my furry friends at home never feels right (hence the RV, where I go... my furry family goes tool and building a space where they are welcome mattered deeply.

The full 3,000 square foot space will also be available for private weekend birthday parties, bachelorette and bachelor gatherings, and small corporate events. It is safe, private, welcoming, and built for connection. Warm and comfortable on cold winter days, cool and refreshing during the heat of summer.

For those who want to build this from the very beginning, we are opening a founders window during January.

Founding adult members 18 and over will be locked in at $75 per month for life. That rate will never increase.

Kids under 10 are free.

Kids ages 10 to 17 are $25 per month.

When kids turn 18, they will be locked in at $50 if they remain on the family plan.

This is an intentionally small, exclusive community. Not to keep people out, but to build something meaningful, connected, and lasting.

Our doors open February 1.

There is so much more coming inside these walls. Events. Gatherings. Unexpected moments. New ways to combine the things we love most in service of something bigger.
