This week has been a full one so far and one more day to go! Without fail, every girl has outdone themselves. They have all performed to the highest they’ve done yet and we couldn’t be more proud of them. One more fighter yet to compete tomorrow!
So far in the books we have:
Day 2:
Hodges- Sport Poomsae (Finished well above her ranking against amazing competitors as firt time nationals competitor! The most precise and powerful form yet!)
Mah - Sport Poomsae (5th place against fantastic competition, all as a first time national competitor! The composure, grace and focus after that initial hiccup before getting in the ring was phenomenal!)
Mayo - Weapons (5th place well above initial ranking in two rounds with the second round even better than the first!) & Speed Breaking (BRONZE! Only thing that held her back was the board holders/us!)
Day 4:
Ottenberg- Sparring (She jumped a weight class last minute ending up being the youngest and lightest in the division, but absolutely didn’t let that stop her! She kept the score so tight, fought fast and hard. Best fight she’s had yet!)
Day 5:
Wolf - Sparring (tomorrow)
