Campus Activities & Recreation is here to shape your Shocker Experience! We offer many ways for you to get involved on campus, explore the community, and gain essential leadership skills for your future. Make friends and get connected through intramural programs, club sports, and Shocker Rowing. Become an event planner and enhance college life through the Student Activities Council. Stay fit and try new experiences at one of our many facilities including the Heskett Center, Boats & Bikes, outdoor playing fields, or try a pick-up game of Pickleball on our newly designed outdoor courts. CAR hosts over 100 events, programs, and experiences each year and are open to new ideas every day. Some of our program highlights include Back to School Bash, Clash of the Colleges, Pumpkin Run, Hippodrome, and the annual Drag Show. Special events throughout the year are focused around competitions, live entertainment, and so much more.
