🔥🏁 Race Recap – 81 Speedway 4/18/26 Spring Fling🏁🔥

Not the night 99Racing wanted to end with, but that’s racing… 💔🏎️

In the 99C Mini Stock, Josh Caudell started the night strong—driving from 5th to 2nd in his heat race 🔥 and the car was looking really good. Back in the pits, Josh mentioned he had no brakes, so the team got that fixed and lined up 5th for the A Feature. He was making his way through the field 🚗💨, but after 8 laps had to pull off due to an issue with the car. We’re not sure yet if it’s the power steering pump or possibly motor-related ⚙️, but we’ll get it torn down and figured out.

As for the 99A… what a night 🔥 Aaron Esparza started 7th in his heat race and drove it all the way to the front to pick up the win 🥇That put him on the pole for the A Feature 🏁 He had a great start, but an early caution came out ⚠️. On the restart, coming out of turn two on lap one, the #1 car of Scott Miller came down out of his line and made contact with us. Aaron saved the initial spin 🔄, but about half a lap later the damage to the front end caused another spin and ended our night!!!

🏁Huge Congrats to Joey Richmond and the entire 82 Team for putting it in Victory Lane - well deserved 👏

We’ve got some work to do this week 🔧🛠️, but we will be back and ready for next weekend 💪🏁 Racing deal or not, with the level of talent and veteran drivers in this class, those situations shouldn’t happen.

🏁🔥 81 Speedway Recap – What a Night! 🔥🏁

100 cars checked in and the action did NOT disappoint at 81 Speedway this Saturday! 💥

🥉 Aaron Esparza in the 99A parked it on the podium AGAIN with a solid 3rd place finish, coming in behind Beau Davis and Brandon Gritz in a strong field of 23 stock cars! The car was FAST—we just needed a few more laps to chase down that top spot. But hey… we’ll take 3rd and a clean car every night! 💪🏁

💥 In the 99C Mini Stock, Josh Caudell battled through a tough (and let’s be honest… a little salty 😅) field of 28 cars to bring it home in 7th. Super clean race and knocking on the door—just needed a little more time to make a podium run!

🏁 Race Recap – 81 Speedway 🏁

What a night at 81 Speedway! Despite the chilly temps and a steady wind, the 99Racing team showed up ready to compete in a stacked Stock Car field. 💪🔥

We kicked things off starting 6th in our heat race and battled our way up to a strong 3rd-place finish. That put us starting 6th (outside row 3) for the A Feature.

And from there… the 99A came alive.

A-Aaron drove from 6th to 1st in just TWO laps and set the pace for most of the race, pulling away from the field. Late cautions tightened things up, and with just two laps to go, the 10K of Kendal Kemp slipped by. We brought it home P3 after a hard-fought race.

Overall, a great night with a fast car and a strong team effort. 🏎️💨
