The 11’s played this weekend in our last tournament on the year and they came ready to play! Came out Friday night with a big 8-0 win to start it off killing it upfront and maintaining the flow of the game from the center backs to Midlfield up to the Forwards with top tier ball movement. Returned Saturday morning for game 2 and kept that same momentum from Friday to come out on top with a 4-0 win placing us in first in our bracket. Played our last game Saturday at 3:30 to the 2nd place team to retain our lead in the bracket. It was a hard fought battle from both sides going back and forth ending in a 3-3 draw locking us in for 1st in the bracket set to play our semi final game Sunday morning. Mother Nature had different plans for us and we had to end our tournament there with the bad weather. I firmly believe we could have brought the gold home but it was so awesome to see all the growth from this past year from this group. Keep it up ladies.

Texoma Futsal was originally established in 2022 with our 06/07 group who grew up playing futsal with Selecto and City Futsal! That group entered and won their league the past season in OKC and finished second their first season! Futsal is a huge part of those players development and what we feel sets them apart on the outdoor field. Our goal is to provide Wichita Falls its own futsal specific training and create teams that will travel and compete in leagues and USYF/United Futsal tournaments. Typically December-February! Our goal is not to take outdoor players away from their current clubs but simply to work with players and clubs who enjoy futsal and see the benefits it provides to their outdoor game! Our 06/07 group now has company with a 15/16 group that will also begin competing in both USYF and United futsal competitions. We want Wichita Falls players to have a place where they can train and have opportunities to compete in the highest youth futsal competitions in the USA! Keep an eye out for more information/trainings as we continue to build WF first futsal specific program! Thank you to everybody who has donated to us so far!

Our 2016’s played last weekend luckily moving our games indoor due to the rain. Our second game was forfeited but we got to play our first game and the girls did awesome. A lot of improvement from this group playing out of their comfort zone stepping into the 7v7 formate 6 months early. Progress is KEY!! Keep it up girls!

Some awesome and much needed team bonding this past weekend from the 11/12’s. Team bonding is so important to really connect on and off the field and just come closer as a group. Our game Saturday got rained out but thankfully the rain stopped in time for the FCD game. The girls had a blast and we will definitely need to catch more games in the future. Also a few pictures from the game on Sunday.
