⭐𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰, 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼
Last year at Gen Con, we tried to take a proper team photo… but honestly? We were having way too much fun to sit still.

Between making sure our games were running smoothly, cheering on players having the time of their lives, and sprinting around the convention floor like joyful gremlins, the day flew by. By the time we finally sat down at Yard House — starving, exhausted, and absolutely delirious — the jokes were flowing, the drinks were cold, and the silly faces were unstoppable.

The photo we got wasn’t “perfect”…
but the camaraderie, the teamwork, and the shared joy in that moment?
That’s the part that sticks with us 💜

And this year?
Team Nexus is even bigger, louder, and more unstoppable than ever.
Gen Con 2026, we’re coming in strong 💪

Shout out to our scouts! Gaining those skill levels in the real world and in-game! 💪

MYTH: "My child is too busy with sports, band, or school to join Scouting."

REALITY: If your kid’s schedule is already packed, they are going to fit right in here!

Let’s tackle the ultimate parent objection: time. We completely understand the schedule juggle, but we want to reassure you that Scouting is incredibly flexible.

Did you know that the youth in Troop 2G and Crew 2 are already dedicated Legacy High School Band members, leading church Bible studies, rolling dice in Dungeons & Dragons sessions at Nexus Game Lounge Wichita Falls, building in Wichita Falls ISD robotics clubs, arguing in debate, and actively volunteering with the Thomas Fowler American Legion Post #169? We also have scouts out there making a difference in Wichita Falls SW Rotary and various other civic organizations and community governments like City of Wichita Falls, Texas Government!

Our goal isn't to just eat up all of their free weekends. In fact, we’ve found that the real-world planning and leadership skills they learn with us actually help them manage their time better across the board! Whether they can make every single meeting or have to navigate around marching band season or an intense D&D campaign, there is a place for them here.
