When George Janko talks about going to church, he keeps it simple and real: we are sheep… and sheep need a Shepherd.

In a world that tells you to be your own guide, your own truth, your own compass, humility says som**hing different. We were never meant to wander alone. We were created to be led.

George has shared openly about his faith journey and his need for God, saying, “I can’t do this life without God. I need Him to guide me.” That’s not weakness, that’s wisdom.

Jesus said it clearly:
“I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”
John 10:11

Church isn’t about religion. It’s about direction. It’s about coming back to the Shepherd who protects, corrects, and leads you beside still waters.

That moment from Jonathan Briscoe hit deep because it was real.

No filters.
No pretending.
Just an honest cry to God in the middle of pain.

Sometimes faith isn’t having all the answers.
Sometimes faith is simply choosing to pray when your heart feels heavy.

The strongest people aren’t the ones who never break down.
They’re the ones who run to God when they do.

Pain has a way of making people either run from God or surrender fully to Him.

And some of the greatest transformations begin with a desperate prayer in a dark moment.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

If you’re hurting right now, don’t isolate yourself from God.
Talk to Him honestly.
Pray through the pain.
Trust that He’s still working, even when life feels confusing.

God can turn broken seasons into powerful testimonies.

That perspective from Sherman Johnson hit different.

In a world where athletes are told their sport is everything, Sherman reminded people that the game eventually ends, but eternity doesn’t.

Baseball can give you moments.Jesus gives you purpose.

Stats fade.Fame fades.Crowds fade.

But your soul lasts forever.

Too many people are building their whole identity around a temporary platform while ignoring eternal life with Christ.

Jesus didn’t die so we could worship the game.He died so we could know Him.

“What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” Mark 8:36

At the end of the day, championships, money, and recognition can never fill the space only God was meant to fill.

Play hard.Compete hard.But never forget what matters most.

Eternity with Jesus is bigger than any sport.

“What are we doing? We need Jesus.”

That’s what Bryce Crawford said on the Shawn Ryan podcast while talking about the brokenness, darkness, and confusion in this world.

Everybody is searching for peace.
Searching for purpose.
Searching for identity.

But Hebrews 12:2 reminds us where our eyes should be fixed:

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.”

The world keeps telling people to look inward.
Jesus tells us to look upward.

No amount of money, fame, success, followers, or distractions can heal a soul separated from God.

At some point we all have to ask ourselves:
What are we really chasing?

Because without Jesus, nothing in this world will ever fully satisfy.

Fix your eyes on Christ.
That’s where peace is.
That’s where purpose is.
That’s where life is.

And one of the realest things he said was:“You cannot live in fear of being canceled. You can’t say it if you’re worried about getting canceled.”

That’s the problem today.Too many people want to follow Jesus quietly so the world stays comfortable.

But you can’t fully follow Christ and blend into every crowd at the same time.

Real faith will cost som**hing.Approval.Comfort.Popularity.Opportunities.

Jesus never called believers to fit in.He called them to stand firm in truth.

Denzel also said:“Put God first in everything you do.”

That’s easy to post.Harder to live.

Especially in a culture where people applaud compromise more than conviction.

But following God was never meant to be convenient.It was meant to be real.

“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”Galatians 1:10

Jay Dill prayed for an opportunity.
Not just for baseball.
But for God to open the right door at the right time.

There were moments nobody saw.
The waiting.
The uncertainty.
The quiet prayers asking God if Clemson was really possible.

And when the scholarship finally came, it was a reminder that God still hears prayers even when the answer takes time.

Jay once shared:
“God’s timing is always better than ours.”

That’s the hard part for most people.
Trusting God while nothing seems to be happening.

But faith is believing God is working even in seasons of waiting.

Some prayers are answered immediately.
Others are answered through preparation, patience, and perseverance.

Never mistake delay for denial.
If God placed the dream in your heart, trust Him enough to let Him unfold it His way.

You can bring Jesus anywhere.

Not just inside church walls.Not just on Sundays.Not only when life is going well.

In a world where people are bold about everything except faith, “Jesus Walks” became an anthem about not being ashamed to say His name publicly.

The song wasn’t about pretending to be perfect.It was about needing God in the middle of pressure, fame, temptation, and chaos.

Kanye once said:“Every time I stand up, I’m drawing a line in the sand and saying everything I have is because of God.”

That’s what makes faith real.Not hiding your struggles.But still pointing people to Jesus through them.

“Whoever acknowledges Me before others, I will also acknowledge before My Father in heaven.”The Gospel of Matthew 10:32

Brian “Head” Welch went from rockstar chaos to radical transformation. At the height of Korn’s fame, addiction had him chained—so deep in it that he walked into church high, desperate, broken, and searching for anything real. But Jesus met him right there. He’s said, “God is the only one who can take the worst parts of your life and turn them into purpose.”

The verse he always goes back to is Matthew 11:28 — “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” From m**h addiction to a renewed mind, from darkness to identity, from numbness to purpose—his life is proof that no pit is too deep for God to pull you out of.
