Located on the 1,200 acre Whitney Point lake, with its easily-accessible NYS DEC boat launch, Dorchester Park provides excellent opportunities for sailing, kayaking, canoeing and more. Bring your own boat, or take advantage of rental boats (Memorial Day-Labor Day). Come for boating, picnicking, swimming at the sandy beach, fishing, or just to relax, and perhaps catch a glimpse of a bald eagle soar

ing over the lake. Three picnic shelters may be reserved for larger gatherings or small family events.

What an incredible evening at our second race of the Broome County Parks 5K Series at Dorchester Park!

Each year, this event continues to grow, and the energy from our runners, staff and spectators was absolutely amazing. Thank you to everyone who came out to race, cheer on participants, and help make another successful night in our parks!

There are still TWO races left in this year's series, and we'd love to see you at the starting line!
