From individual accomplishments in my own running, to having a career as a coach, and the great friendships that have come from it. Running is such a big piece of my life and I am so thankful for it. Hope everyone is able to go out there today and enjoy a run and think of all the great things running has giving you !

Weekend recap congrats to the following athletes .
1) ran her first marathon today on a warm day with temps in the 80s . Jes still came in well under the original goal and ran a very solid 3:40 in tough conditions . Nice job Jes .

2) ran the colfax marathon relay at altitude in Denver. Lily ran a hilly leg just under 6 miles in 6:34 pace which was 10 seconds per mile faster than two years ago .

3) also ran the colfax relay and was part of the winning co ed team and had a solid leg about 6.5 miles at 520 pace.

4) ran a 5k a day after doing her long run as she was a late addition to the race. Jess ended up finishing first age group 40-49 at the Evan’s run 5k.

5) jumped into a local small half marathon with friends and just ran it as a long run and still ended up finishing first female .

6) Just wanted to give a shoutout to for taking on Jacksonville Ironman. It was not the result we wanted as dehydration t**e its toll about 15 miles into the run causing a med tent visit . But Craig gave it his best all day as it was brutal conditions being around 90 degrees and humid most of the day . Way to give it your best shot Craig and no doubt you will bounce back strong from this .
