Jr. Whippets is excited to sponsor the 2026 version of the 10,000 Shot Club for the third year in a row! You will find the details of the 2026 shot club below.

Sign-Ups

Complete this 10,000 Jr. Whippets Shot Club form.

Rules

1. The 10,000 shot club is open to all Whitewater players who will be in grades 4th - 12th next school year.

2. You can begin counting game-like makes after you have registered.

3. Every game-like make counts as "1 make" - shots can be done at the gym, in your driveway, at the park, etc.

4. Every 10 minutes of focused ball handling counts as 10 makes (limit of 2000 makes through ball handling)

5. Players who will be in grades 9-12 for the 2026-2027 school year have until August 31 to get 10,000 makes. Players who will be in grades 4-8 have until October 31 to get 10,000 makes.

6. Makes will be checked weekly. Information on recording and submitting makes will be sent out to athletes that sign-up.

Recognition

To receive recognition at a game next season, the player

1. must make 10,000 game-like shots

2. participate in four (4) workout sessions (see below) between May 17 and August 31

3. record their made shots on their personalized tracking sheet (information will be handed out to those who sign-up)

Workouts

Workouts will be run by a variety of coaches and will be performed at a variety of times. These times are still to be determined but more information will be sent to those who sign up. Similar to last year, Coach McCabe will run workouts from 4-6pm on Sundays. In addition, we are looking to run workouts multiple times throughout the summer on different dates.

Goals

We had 8 players make and record 10,000+ shots in year one and 18 players in year two.

We have a goal of 30 players this summer to make 10,000+ shots and 5 players to reach the 20,000 club!
