3rd Annual Jerry Gilkey Memorial Recap

Qualified 4th in group A, started outside front row for our heat, ran 2nd, started 7th in the feature. Ran 7th for the first few laps, then started slowly falling back. Missed the setup a bit, and the car started getting hot as the radiator filled up, and we ended up pulling in on lap 28. Solid night overall, made some gains I believe, and I think have a direction to go to from here to get better. Not a bad night at all against some of the best in the country. We will make a few changes, and be ready for the next one👍

Headed to Western Ky Speedway tonight for the $7000 to win 3rd Annual Jerry Gilkey Memorial. Weather couldn't get any better, looking forward to a good night of racing.

We were up to 4th when we got turned into the wall in last weekends Gobbler 150. Here are the last few laps from the in-car.

Our night came to an early end on lap 8. Went to make a move to pass a car, and ended up clipping a car that was on the right rear corner, and got turned into the wall. Car was running good up to that point, just couldn't get to the end. Bent a tie rod and a strut. We'll get it fixed up and try again sometime.
