Rustic No Knead Rosemary Garlic Bread🧄🍞
Crusty rosemary and garlic infused bread, effortlessly baked!❤️
Ingredients:
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/4 teaspoons salt🧂
• 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
• 1 1/2 cups warm water (about 110°F or 43°C)🍶
• 3 cloves garlic, minced🧄
• 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried rosemary)
• Additional flour for dusting
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and instant yeast.
2. Stir until well mixed.
3. Add the warm water, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary to the dry ingredients.
4. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until a shaggy dough forms. The dough will be sticky and wet, which is normal.
5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and let it sit at room temperature for about 12 to 18 hours. The dough should rise and become bubbly.
6. After the rising period, dust a clean work surface with flour.
7. Turn the dough out onto the floured surface and sprinkle a little flour on top of the dough.
8. With floured hands, gently shape the dough into a ball.
9. Be careful not to deflate it too much.
10. Place the shaped dough on a piece of parchment paper.
11. Cover it with a towel and let it rise for another 1 to 2 hours, until it has puffed up.
12. About 30 minutes before you’re ready to bake, preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
13. Place a Dutch oven (or any heavy pot with a lid) in the oven as it preheats.
14. Once preheated, carefully remove the Dutch oven from the oven.
15. Lift the parchment paper with the dough and place it into the pot (the parchment paper makes it easier to transfer).
16. Cover with the lid and return it to the oven.
17. Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on.
18. After 30 minutes, remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and has a crusty exterior.
19. Once done, carefully remove the bread from the pot using the parchment paper. L
20. Let it cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
