Busy day off work, tire and wheel maintenance never fails to take up half of your day! Wrapping my lower tins now, thank goodness I have my little shop buddy to keep me company while the wife's at work :) Happy Friday everyone! About 6 more weeks and we are at the race track again!

It's been a while since I've updated. We have had engine issues since the 2nd race of the year. We thought it was a fuel issue and went to the dyno last week, changed 2 sets of plugs, 2 different mags and still could not figure it out. We had just put brand new valve springs in before Bloomington so those couldnt be the issue right!? We'll it turns out we had a bad batch, one was completely missing the inner spring and we aren't sure how we missed that. We are working hard today to get another new set put in and back to the dyno next weekend. The goal is to make The Huntley Memorial on July 18th!! Special thanks to my awesome wife for sitting in the racecar and holding the brake for us 🤣

Had more damage from the flip at Bloomington than we had originally thought. Rr arm was bent, birdcage bearing was toast and i sat the jacobs ladder wrong in my haste to get the car done in time to race. Paragon was a complete disaster from the start. Sucked in hotlaps, spun twice in my heat and then had motor issues along with handling issues in the b-main. If we can figure out the engine issues we will be at paragon again on Saturday. Fingers crossed!

The racecar is getting some love today! Mickey Roberts @ CSG CountrySide Graphics is getting our wrap finished! We had a rough night at putnamville last weekend, had a collapsed radiator hose, issues with brand new front hubs coming loose due to bearing races not being pressed in correctly from the factory causing both front wheels to move in and out 1/4" which Led to me losing brakes. Still finished p.12 of 19 so not terrible. Next race is May 3rd at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville Indiana.
