🚨Two lightning delays later, your Wildcats are officially PLAYOFF BOUND! 🚨

Man, sitting on the bus for a collective hour, delaying play mid matches, and STILL going back out and keeping our momentum… We had to work hard for it last night, but your Wildcats took care of BUSINESS!

Shout outs:

Sydney Spain for playing through a persisting shoulder injury and still having the best scores all night. Her singles play, especially, was simply unmatched last night.

Jake Dennis for showing out last night, having to step up and win both doubles and singles against players two lines above him.

Kelvin He for his thrilling 10-8 Tiebreaker win to send your Wildcats to playoffs.

Time Change for Free Beginner Tennis Clinic (now from 6:00-7:30pm Tue/Thurs)

We have had SEVERAL parents reaching out saying they’d love to go to the clinics, but couldn’t make the after school time. So we changed it!

We hope hope to see many more kiddos (and yes, even adults!) at the new time. Go follow of FB page (“Whitehouse Beginner Tennis Clinics”) for updates. Info below!

Today, we paired up our Varsity players with our Junior Varsity players and put on a fun, chaotic tournament. The competitiveness was incredible and the match play was high level. CONGRATS TO OUR WINNERS who went undefeated!

🎾 SHOUT OUT 🎾
Gotta give a big shout out to our Freshmen and Sophomores for stepping up to play this week’s Varsity Match against Marshall. They picked up a huge District win to bring our record to 2-1, and have gotten us closer to securing a playoff spot!

Our JV decided they would show out yesterday!  Big win indeed. Shout out to our lower JV boys, who played higher in the lineup and picked up almost all wins.

BIG DISTRICT WIN!🚨
We played a tough Tyler High team last night and pulled off some close tiebreakers in doubles to go up 5-2 early. Then adjusted well in singles to pick up 9 of the remaining 12 matches.

We showed a lot of heart and energy against our rivals yesterday to give us a better shot of securing playoffs. GOOD JOB WILDCATS!

After a rough Varsity match, our JV team traveled to Texas High on Thursday to try and clean up the mess a little. We fell short, but not without a big fight. Shoutout to our boys team, who was close to running the table while the girls played in some really competitive matches.
