Governor Whitmer,

I am writing to express my deep disgust with the continued efforts to limit or restrict firearm ownership in Michigan. Law-abiding citizens should not be treated as though they are responsible for the actions of criminals. The right to own fi****ms is not merely a political issue to many of us — it is a constitutional liberty and a means of protecting our families and communities.

I urge you to reconsider this approach and listen more carefully to the citizens who value both safety and constitutional rights. Michigan deserves leadership that works with responsible firearm owners, not against them. Further restrictions will only deepen public frustration and distrust among those who believe their rights are steadily being eroded.
